The FREC 3 Requalification course is a 3-day (21-hour) course designed to renew the Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) certification for another 3 years. It covers updated, comprehensive pre-hospital care skills including patient assessment, trauma management, catastrophic bleeding, airway management, and AED usage through practical scenarios. This informative, hands-on 3-day requalification course fulfils the competencies set out in the PHEM skills framework at descriptor level D, providing the knowledge and practical skills needed to deal with a range of prehospital emergency care situations.
Who is this qualification for?
FREC 3 (First Response Emergency Care Level 3) Requalification is for individuals holding a current, soon-to-expire FREC 3 certificate who need to renew their qualification for another three years. It is designed for medical professionals, event responders, security personnel, and high-risk workplace staff requiring advanced, regulated first-aid skills.

Course Structure & Assessment:
Delivery: Combines classroom theory with practical, hands-on, outdoor, and indoor scenarios.
Assessment: Involves continuous practical assessment (e.g., 15 practical assessments) and multiple-choice question (MCQ) papers.
Validity: The qualification lasts for 3 years, and the training must be completed before the current certificate expires.
Certification:
Successful learners will receive a nationally recognised qualification, a personalised Qualsafe Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (RQF) e-Certificate will be issued as soon as received by F1 Training Services UK Ltd, printed certificates will follow approximately 2 weeks after the course end date.
