SQA L&D 9DI Assessor Award (Previously A1) training in Aberdeen, Dundee & Glasgow

SQA Learning & Development Unit 9DI (Previously A1) – Assessing workplace competencies using direct and indirect methods -This course proves your ability to assess a candidate to the standards of the SQA and is an essential qualification for those wishing to assess within their own organisation or on a freelance basis. This course is suitable for those who are experienced practitioners within their field, and are “operationally competent to the standard described in the units they are assessing, based on current professional practice.”

The L&D9D1 Award enables you to assess what SVQ candidates can do, and what they know and understand about the job they are doing.

Four key elements form the basis of the course:

• Element 1 - Prepare to assess
• Element 2 - Plan assessments
• Element 3 - Assess candidate performance and knowledge
• Element 4 - Confirm progression and achievement

The L&D 9DI Award is a one-day course with individual assessor support and ongoing assessments as follow-on. These details will be confirmed with you by our Training Centre Manager at the time of booking.An earlier qualification award known as D32/D33/A1 has now been replaced by the L&D 9DI Award. Our qualification replaces the earlier award and is suitable for those wishing to upgrade to the current standard.
