Level 3 Award in Education & Training (Previously PTLLS) 

The qualification is essential those entering the teaching industry, as well as anyone currently teaching or wishing to teach their subject specialism.

Delivering Conflict Management Training – Level 3

The Delivering Conflict Management course is for trainers who wish to deliver scenario-based conflict management training. The qualification is suitable for delivery across a wide range of sectors and is of particular benefit to those delivering training in a customer-facing role.

The qualification also meets the requirements of the Security Industry Authority for those delivering the licence to practice qualifications which include scenario-based conflict management training. This training is an essential requirement to teach the following courses: Security Guarding, Upskilling and Door Supervision.

Please note: If you would like to teach Security Guarding courses only then the Level 3 Award in Education & Training and the Conflict Management are the essential two qualifications along with your Level 2 Security Guarding qualification but if you would like to teach Door Supervision you will also need the Level 3 Physical Intervention.

Delivering Physical Intervention – Level 3

The Delivering Physical Intervention course is for trainers who wish to teach physical intervention skills to people working in the private security industry.

The most popular licence linked qualification in the UK is the Level 2 Award in Door Supervision; as this qualification now includes physical intervention as a compulsory unit in its framework therefore trainers who wish to deliver the Door Supervision course must have this qualification along with the Level 3 Awarding in Education & Training and Conflict Management Level 3.

In order to deliver SIA Licence linked qualification you will need the relevant qualifications. You will also need to demonstrate sector competence in your CV for a minimum number of 2 years within the last 5 years front-line work experience in each area that you would like to teach in.
